MEAT CHICKEN

A synthetic white feathered crossbred. Fast growing, achieving a live weight of more than 2 kg by 7 weeks of age. This chicken can also be grown more slowly (in the free range or pasture system) where it will achieve a live weight around 5 kg at 14 weeks of age. Good liveability and carcass conformation are apparent under both growth profiles.

Day old meat chicks are vaccinated for Mareks disease.

Day old meat chicks - $3.30 each plus freight (minimum 30).
